dream mapping

I use creative facilitation to assist individuals and collectives through transformation, helping them move towards their dreams and visions in alignment with their values within our current framework of extractive capitalism. This approach can complement therapeutic modalities and other intuitive design practices.

Informed by collaborative research practices, my training in architecture and wilderness guiding, my facilitation integrates immersive outdoor experiences, expressive arts, self and collective reflection, dream-work, creative strategy, and visual mapping.

Dream Mapping can support individuals or families looking to engage or re-engage in creative work, individuals wanting to delve into their night dreams as creative guidance, facilitate relocation or reconnections within a place or community, and align collectives such as families, teams, or small organizations towards a shared dream or common vision.

“To vision futures is to conjure something that sits outside of your time and circumstance while being firmly rooted in the moment. To listen for the calls of what is not yet here but is waiting just in the wings. The way Harriet did. Even in the most unsteady and dangerous of times, even now, we need our imaginations, and we need visions.”

— Prentis Hemphill, What it Takes to Heal.
